EU40 organised together with the think tank Frankfurter Zukunftsrat an online chat with MEPs and students, as part of the “My Europe” initiative which connects young people with decision-makers from politics and business, mainly through workshops in the EU countries where they discuss their visions of Europe in 2030. Since the new MEPs took office recently, we thought it would be a good opportunity for students aged between 15 and 25 from all Member States to ask questions to a small group of young MEPs and get to know more about them and what the European Parliament means.
The next “My Europe” Live Chat YOUth and the European Parliament will take place in early 2015.
“My Europe” initiative also provided a moderator who conducted the chat which was visible on “My Europe” Facebook page, website, twitter and directly at CoveritLive. The results of the discussion were also be distributed in all Member States.
